More info about the show…

On November 11, 2007, the Sisterhood of Temple Emanuel will be sponsoring the First Annual New Haven Arts & Crafts Show at the Belvedere, located immediately off of the Merrit Parkway at 170 Pond Lilly Avenue. Sixty talented artists and crafters from Connecticut and five other states have been accepted to exhibit and sell their work at this juried show.

Marcy Kossar, Co-Chairperson of the show remarked, “We are very excited about this new event and are confident that it will be an asset to the entire Greater New Haven community. The jury has spent many hours reviewing applications, seeking only the most talented artists while seeking diversity in style, medium and price. The arts and crafts for sale at this show are all original designs and hand-made by the artist. The buyers will be able to find many one-of-a-kind pieces that they would be proud to wear, have in their homes or give as a gift.”

“I am absolutely delighted to have been chosen to participate in the First Annual New Haven Arts & Crafts Show”, says fiber artist and designer Sigrun Mueller of oggi e domaini. “I believe that the New Haven area desperately needs a show of this quality and we are very lucky that the Temple Emanuel Sisterhood has decided to organize this one. I have seen the exhibitor list and have every reason to believe it will be a fabulous show. I look forward to participating for many years to come.”

The New Haven Arts & Crafts Show begins at 10:00 and runs until 4:00. Come early to ensure yourself ample time to see everything and for the best selection. Admission is only $2, but if you present this article at the door, we’ll cut that in half!
