WPLR has decided to cancel their only show featuring local music. Please take the time to write a letter of support and keep our friends Rick Allison, James Velvet, and our local musicians on the airwaves.

After 21 years and 1084 shows, Cox Radio has chosen to pull the plug on the show and further isolate itself from the community it is supposed to serve.

For the record, the show cost nothing for PLR to air. This is not a budget decision. This is simply one more step in Cox’s inclination to homogenize a once great radio station. Please let the station know how you feel. Address your letters to:
