Christo and Jean Claude: The Gates, Central Park, NYC

New York City is only a quick ride on the Metro North Commuter train, so there was no excuse not to head down to Central Park and check out Christo and Jean Claude’s “The Gates”.

“The Gates” was excellent! It was a beautiful day, a little cold with the wind, but it was great to witness the wind blowing the fabric. They became like sails on a boat or flags “whippin’” and “snappin’”. These sounds added an extra element to the experience. It was a good day to fly a kite. Continue…
